Makaranga Garden Lodge 3

Here are some of the photos I took of the "wild" part of Makaranga Gardens.

First, where we had our coffee.

Scattered all over are rustic benches like this, hidden in the forest glades.

A forest pool.

An avenue of fever trees.

Lily pond.

Arum lilies. (I think)

Stepping stones, Japanese garden, Makaranga.

 Fairies apartment building.

 Jane admiring the Japanese Khoi.
Water lily. I have many more photos but I think too much of a good thing will be overdoing it.

I have loved seeing this beautiful place, Phillip and obviously, the more you show of what you saw, the more we get to see, too :)

If I'm ever lucky enough to be in Durban again,a visit to Makaranga will be on the top of my list. BTW the arums you showed are peace lilies (Spathiphyllum).

Hi Phil, that is so cool and inviting - will definitely be calling there when we go to Durban in May. Enjoy your weekend, Love and blessings. Jo

So beautiful, Phillip. I had to look up "fever tree" and I see it is an acacia. What a delightful place.

It's a beautiful place. My kind of place to wander, relax and sit.
