I love all of Africa and especially SA, but this must be the most beautiful view in the world. (Beats Rio hands down, Ha!) I remember well the day we travelled up the [old] cable car when the boys were small. I'd love to hike up Table Mountain too. One thing on my bucket list is to sail from Dakar, along West African coast and arrive in Cape Town from the North. Have a good weekend. love Jo xxx

Hi Phillip!

I think everyone who lives in the Mother City, as it's known in Cape Town speak, regards it as their own as in, "My Cape Town!"

I am fortunate in that I live just a stone's throw away from all of this beauty. Mountains, sea, winelands and city...what more is there to wish for?

These are Great captures! I didn't see Table Mt from a distance like that, but did take the cableway to the top. Plus drove the Chapman Peak Rd and it was gorgeous. Nice to see different perspectives.

Beautiful. That's the only way to describe it.

Thanks for sharing again, Phillip. It is a long way from my home, but, so beautiful indeed!
