Richterveld

Was surfing the net looking for information about the Richtersveld, also World heritage site.

 This tree is called the "Halfmens", half-human. From a distance these trees look like people.

Some idea of the rugged and arid conditions in the Richtersveld.

This is the Augrabies waterfalls several hundred kilometres up-stream of the Richtersveld on the Orange river which flows throw the Richtersveld.
