Cottage

North West view. Thombi, (little girl in Zulu) and Sissie on the right, mother and daughter. You can see the family resemblance, can't you? The tree on the right is where I photographed the Golden orb spiders.
North View.
Lady under the bougainvillea, Rambo standing right front. Faithful companion for 11 rears reaching the end of life's road. Went to the vet and got him some anti-inflammatory pills for his arthritic hips, and it looks like he will keep going for a while. The name Rambo is a misnomer if ever there was one. Rambo is a German -Shepard x Rottweiler, but there is not an aggressive hair on his body. One of natures true gentlemen.

The view from my front window. Five minute walk if I want to do some fishing.

You live in such a beautiful setting! I love how your cottage seems to be set apart on it's own. Yet over beyond the pond I see the houses are closer together. Thanks for sharing your beautiful setting with us.

Between the pond in the foreground and the houses on the ridge, actually a b & b/lodge, is a small valley, where the bigger dam/pond is. Those house are quite far from my cottage.

Hey Phillip. Nice digs. Cool to have a pond so close. I have one just below the house. No fish though. Goes almost dry in the summer.

What a beautiful spot you call home, Phillip! So tranquil and peaceful looking beyond your windows. Your very own piece of heaven and a perfect place for your dogs to run free! :)
