At 8:30 this morning I received a phone call from my doctor, which went like something like this; "Morning Phillip, doctor here. Just had a call from the pathologist, and the news is quite serious, you have a generalised infection and septicaemia. Your white blood cell count is extremely high. We need to get to you a specialist, come and see me asap".
To say the least I was gobsmacked.

Oh, that's sound scary...But at least now the docs know what it is so are better placed to do something about it. Get well soon my friend.
Good thing you got all those tests. They will put you on antibiotics immediately and perhaps intravenously. Sadly I am all too familiar with this problem as it is something my mother suffers on a regular basis. I will say a prayer for you. xx
I'll continue praying, Phillip.
I will join in the prayer.
Grace and peace.
I wish you a speedy return to good health Phillip.
We're with you buddy, get well.
