Winter sunrise

Sunrise this morning 6:10am. Winter arrived with a bang June the first. Woke up to find my car covered with a thin layer of ice. This morning was chilly but not so cold. Temperatures this last week have averaged between minus 3 and 0 degrees Celsius. Strangely though not much frost here on the farm yet.

What a beautiful sunrise, Phillip!
A thin layer of ice but no frost yet? Extraordinary!
And I'm going to snaffle that Lao Wei quotation to share with a young person I love.

And you're welcome to it, my friend. We've had our share of winter this year.

I wouldn't object to a little frost on the pumpkin right now. I don't do "swealtering" well.

And that my friend, is why I live in the land of zero winter.
