Went out with the dogs for our evening constitutional as usual and took photos of the sunset. The Italian leprechaun who walks with us said to me, "turn round and look behind you". There was the full moon rising in all it's glory.

Looking west.
Looking north, a marbled sky.
The full moon, just scraping over the top of the trees.

This is unbelievably gorgeous, Phillip! It reminds me of the time I arrived at work for a 7am shift, and excitedly told the group of men who had arrived before me, "I just saw the moon going down and the sun coming up at the same time!"
Soulless cretins.
Your view of the moon is so different from ours, but just as beautiful. I intend to go outside tonight to see if I can catch sunset/moonrise at the same time. My camera isn't very good, and my husband is away, so I won't capture shots like yours, but it will be fun to try.

I used to work outside until nearly dark many days. The beautiful sunsets and moonrises were one of the incentives!
One wonders why, he moon always looks so much bigger when it's full.
These are fantastic photos!
