Beautiful flower.

I don't know what it's called but it's beauty just had to be photographed.

This is a big flower, I took this photo early in the morning, so I don't know if the drops at the bottom are dew or nectar.

Hi Phillip. It looks like a Hibiscus. They grow well in the South where it's hot and humid.

I was going to say I think it's a tropical Hibiscus which I've never seen myself. They grow in very hot places and Vancouver isn't so hot though perhaps they are here too in a good gardener's garden. It is a beauty.

Hi Phil, yes that's a hibiscus. I have the same growing outside my lounge window here in Tanzania. Keep your eye on it, sunbirds love these blooms. I'm trying to reply to your mail but my outlook is playing up. Love and blessings Jo
